Job Summary
Lead Structural Engineer-Precast in Bechtel Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) based in Clay, NY. Plan, coordinate and perform structural engineering tasks to produce designs and estimates for precast concrete superstructures and related components. Develop, evaluate, coordinate or modify designs, drawings, specifications and requisitions for precast concrete, ensuring use of appropriate materials and applying engineering standards, BSAPs, DCCL and DRNs. Design structures using advanced knowledge of structural analysis (statics/dynamics/materials engineering) and coordinate between home office engineers and subcontractors. Prepare procurement/subcontract requisitions, perform bid evaluations with award recommendations, and provide assistance to project and construction management in ensuring Civil/Structural requirements are met throughout project execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent)
- 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
- Professional engineering license highly preferred
