Lead Structural Engineer

Lead Structural Engineer at Lochner responsible for developing and reviewing structural design calculations and analysis models, preparing plans, specs, and estimates for all phases of design, developing staged construction schemes, preparing written correspondence and reports, managing construction phase services including submittal review and RFI responses, assisting in development of project scopes and fees, overseeing document control, and mentoring younger staff; requires PE license, experience with AASHTO/AREMA/AISC/ACI codes, familiarity with CTDOT/MassDOT/RIDOT policies, proficiency in structural analysis/CAD tools (Larsa, Staad, OpenBridge, AutoCAD), and strong writing and verbal communication skills; preferred BS/MS, rail and alternative delivery experience, and public speaking.
