Job Summary
Conduct hands-on technical design for building structures projects while overseeing multiple simultaneous initiatives, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communication. Collaborate with engineering and architectural teams to complete deliverables and coordinate design work across disciplines. Attend project sites and client meetings to meet expectations for budget, schedule, and quality. Increase proficiency in design, modeling, and analysis software such as Revit, ETABS, RISA, and RAM Structural System. Assist with budget estimates and proposal write-ups. Maintain current knowledge of local codes and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- FL Professional Engineering (PE) license
- 7+ years of relevant structural engineering design experience (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Wood)
- Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., ETABS, RISA, RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, Enercalc, Excel)
- Experience assembling calculation packages for submittal to agencies
Desired Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Revit experience including modeling and producing construction drawings
