Job Summary
Lead Structural Engineer at Aurecon in Bangkok, responsible for producing and reviewing structural calculations, technical drawings, specifications and reports for building and infra projects; requires experience in design for high-rise and low-rise structures, ability to work independently or in a team, liaison with professionals from other disciplines, and proficiency with structural analysis tools (STAAD PRO, SAFE, SAP2000, ETABS). Must hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with an associated/professional engineering license in Thailand and 10+ years of design experience in a consulting setting; English communication skills and knowledge of RC, post-tensioned, and steel structures, including tall buildings and large-scale projects, are advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Possess an Associated/Professional Engineer License certified by the Council of Engineers, Thailand or 2nd level of Engineer License is preferred
- At least 10 years design experience with a consulting engineering company
- Knowledge of structural analysis programs like RAPT, ETABS, SAP2000 and SAFE would be an advantage
- Design experiences in RC structures, post-tensioned structures, and steel structures relevant to Building/Property business sector are required
- Design experiences in tall building and large-scale projects would be an advantage
- Good English communication skills and computer literacy
