Lead, Strategy & Operations at A1 is a senior, fast-moving generalist role reporting to the Founder. You will drive local market entry from strategy to hands-on execution, build and execute initial hiring plans, support fundraising efforts with materials and investor conversations, establish A1’s local presence (office setup, vendors, operating structure), drive external positioning with PR and partnerships, and convert ambiguous ideas into clear, executable plans. The role requires operating independently in ambiguity, with experience in consulting (MBB), top-tier VC, startups, or high-performance operating roles; strong generalist capabilities across strategy, hiring, operations, and execution; high judgment to prioritize and decide with incomplete information; clear, concise communication with senior stakeholders and external partners; and high reliability in a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate is fast, dependable, and capable of moving without waiting for instructions, bringing structure and sound judgment to cross-team execution. This is a full-time senior leadership role focused on local market expansion, hiring strategy, fundraising coordination, and operational setup.
