Job Summary
Lead, Strategic Operations: work directly with the Founder to drive local market entry, build and execute hiring plans, support fundraising, establish local presence (office setup, vendors, operating structure), drive external positioning with PR and partnerships, and turn ambiguous ideas into actionable plans. The role requires fast, independent operation in ambiguity, with a strong generalist skill set spanning strategy, hiring, operations, and execution; must proactively prioritize, communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, and push progress across cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Background in consulting (MBB), top-tier VC, startups, or high-performance operating roles
- Strong generalist - able to switch between strategy, hiring, operations, and execution
- High agency - does not wait for instructions, figures things out and moves
- Strong judgment - able to prioritize what matters and make decisions with incomplete information
- Clear and concise communication - comfortable working with senior stakeholders and external partners
- High reliability - consistently follows through and delivers
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment
