Job Summary
Lead Store Associate at Curaleaf, responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, coaching and leading a retail team, driving consultative selling, managing opening/closing duties, verifying IDs, and maintaining inventory accuracy while ensuring compliance with SOPs and state regulations. The role emphasizes leadership, customer service excellence, KPI attainment, staff development, and operation-wide accountability in a fast-paced cannabis retail setting. Must be 21+, possess a High School diploma or GED, and have retail/sales experience with POS proficiency; availability required for evenings, weekends, holidays, and some overnights.
Required Qualifications
- 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or sales environment
- 1 year of experience using POS systems and cash handling
- 6 months of leadership experience in a retail environment
- 6 months of hands-on experience in retail store operations
- Experience as Curaleaf Store Associate or demonstrated performance in a similar role
- Strong leadership, coaching, and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with SOPs, safety protocols, and loss prevention
