Job Summary
Lead Store Associate at Curaleaf responsible for coaching and guiding a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences, driving consultative selling, and maintaining a compliant, high-performing retail environment. Responsibilities include leading by example to create a welcoming store atmosphere, enrolling guests in the rewards program, conducting opening/closing duties, cash handling and POS accuracy, inventory counts and audits, enforcing SOPs and state regulations, achieving daily KPI goals through upselling and product education, training and developing staff, and maintaining operations across multiple store stations. Requires strong leadership, customer service, problem-solving, de-escalation, and communication skills, with availability for a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and some overnights.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer-facing or sales environment
- Minimum of 1 year of experience using point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling
- Minimum of 6 months of leadership experience in a retail environment
- Minimum of 6 months of hands-on experience in retail store operations, including but not limited to executing opening and closing procedures, and reconciling cash drawers
- Minimum of 6 months of experience as a Store Associate demonstrating consistent performance
- Must be 21 years of age or older
