Job Summary
Lead Steward oversees daily stewarding operations across dish room, night cleaning, loading dock, employee cafeteria, main kitchen, and all outlets, ensuring sanitation, inventory control, and compliance with health policies. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, and managing stewarding staff; conducting pre-shifts and departmental meetings; enforcing safety and health standards; maintaining inventories of china, glassware, silverware, and cleaning supplies; and supervising dishwashing and sanitation activities. Requires strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations, organization, and the ability to supervise and delegate while maintaining high standards. Proficiency in Spanish is preferred; role is full-time with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or high school equivalent preferred
- 6 months to 1 year of back of house experience preferred
- Proficiency in Spanish preferred
