Assemble instrument trays and equipment independently while utilizing the tracking system to prepare requested instrumentation for surgical and clinical procedures. Monitor daily workflow with staff to ensure timely completion and correctness, assisting with orientation and development of in-service for new employees. Operate sterilization and HLD equipment according to manufacturer requirements and departmental policies, ensuring all staff demonstrate principles of decontamination and standard precautions. Inventory supplies, maintain missing instrumentation records, and place requests for orders to keep instrument trays functioning. Ensure implementation of standards within the quality assurance monitoring process and improvements are followed.
