Job Summary
Coordinate hundreds of caregiver appointments daily, managing last-minute schedule updates, cancellations, and emergency coverage while tracking availability and balancing workloads. Optimize staffing operations by collaborating with field operations, HR, and recruiting teams to identify trends, fill coverage gaps, and support retention efforts. Train and mentor dispatch staff, communicate clearly with caregivers regarding schedule changes, and accurately document all scheduling actions to maintain compliance with company policies and state regulations. Handle 300+ schedules or service calls daily with precision, ensuring client needs are met and care plans are followed. Participate in occasional weekend or holiday on-call rotations.
Required Qualifications
- 60 college credit hours or 2+ years of supervisory experience in a healthcare or service environment
- Minimum 2 years in staffing, scheduling, or dispatching
- experience in home care, healthcare, transportation, or call center operations
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management abilities
- Proficiency with scheduling software or workforce management systems
- Excellent communication across phone, text, and digital platforms
- Ability to manage 300+ schedules or service calls daily with accuracy
- Reliable Transportation to perform job duties
- Willingness to participate in occasional weekend or holiday on-call rotations
- Knowledge of Medicaid and home care benefits
