Job Summary
Lead and facilitate multi-sport party activities including basketball, baseball, soccer, and flag football for youth guests during weekend birthday parties and events. Maintain a safe, engaging, and fun environment alongside junior staff while demonstrating enthusiasm and encouragement to guests. Work at least five weekend days a month in a team environment, requiring experience coaching children ages 2-13 in basketball, soccer, baseball, and flag football. This role is based at Chelsea Piers in New York, New York, where colleagues transform community lives through sports and fitness.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work at least five weekend days a month
- A minimum of one year of experience coaching/instructing/working with children between the ages of 2-13
- Experience as a coach in basketball, soccer, baseball and flag football
- Excellent customer service skills
- A positive attitude
- A strong work ethic
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous manner at all times
- An outgoing, energetic personality
- Enjoy working in a team environment
