Job Summary
Own end-to-end Snowflake platform operations from L1–L3 support, ensuring high availability, reliability, and SLA compliance. Lead data modeling, warehouse optimization, and cost governance initiatives while architecting GenAI (Cortex) solutions including prompt orchestration, RAG workflows, and vectorized data architectures. Define automation strategies, drive root-cause analysis, and mentor engineering teams across multi-tenant environments. Partner directly with enterprise customers on requirements and enforce security standards. This leadership role combines platform ownership with architectural decision-making within a managed services environment, offering direct exposure to enterprise GenAI initiatives and global clients.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience in data platforms / operations engineering
- Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture, query optimization, and performance tuning
- Strong hands-on experience with AI / GenAI platforms
- Working knowledge of Cortex components
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
- Experience operating in complex, multi-tenant managed services environments
- Strong knowledge of DevOps, automation, and monitoring tools
- Cloud platform exposure (GCP preferred)
