Job Summary
Lead Specialist, MAST Application Penetration Testing Manager responsible for steering application penetration testing engagements, providing technical leadership, and mentoring onshore/offshore teams. Role includes directing client engagements, shaping testing methodologies, communicating results to both technical and non-technical audiences, developing automation ideas with Cyber teams, and promoting growth within the practice. Requires extensive experience with commercial and open-source application security tools (e.g., AppScan, Netsparker, Acunetix, ZAP, Veracode, BurpSuite), strong reporting and remediation guidance capabilities, and a willingness to travel. Advanced certifications in ethical hacking are preferred; a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum five years of experience with application penetration tools (AppScan, Netsparker, Acunetix, ZAP, Veracode, BurpSuite)
- Minimum five years of experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences and leading remediation conversations
- Minimum five years of experience leading application security testing teams in a consulting environment
- Ability to travel as required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future
Desired Qualifications
- one or more major ethical hacking certifications not required but preferred; CISSP, GWAPT, CREST, OSWE, OSWA
