Job Summary
Lead Specialist, MAST Application Penetration Testing Manager at KPMG drives strategic direction for application penetration testing teams within Managed Services, providing technical leadership on engagements, mentoring onshore and offshore team members, and developing new testing techniques and automation. The role involves engaging with non-technical audiences, presenting results and remediation options, and collaborating with Cyber teams on testing methods and collateral. Requires extensive hands-on experience with standard appSec tooling (AppScan, Netsparker, Acunetix, ZAP, Veracode, BurpSuite) and prior leadership in a consulting setting. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with one or more major ethical hacking certifications preferred. Travel as needed; US work authorization required. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum five years of experience in application penetration testing with tools (AppScan, Netsparker, Acunetix, ZAP, Veracode, BurpSuite)
- Experience reporting to both technical and non-technical audiences and leading remediation conversations
- Experience leading application security testing teams in a consulting environment
- Ability to travel as required
