Job Summary
Lead Specialist, Environment Regulatory & Compliance responsible for environmental and regulatory technical support on permitting, rule implementation, data management, and environmental reporting (air, GHG, water, waste, biodiversity). Monitors regulations at federal, state, local, and international levels; develops compliance plans across multiple media and geographies; coordinates technical support for local compliance programs; ensures adherence to Chevron OE standards and environmental laws; collaborates with Corporate Affairs and ESG stakeholders; provides training on regulatory requirements; participates in environment technical working groups; supports digital tooling for data management and reporting; leads tracking of closure of environment-related findings from OE audits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental, Civil or Chemical Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years’ experience in environmental compliance and permitting, with 5+ years’ of experience within oil & gas and/or manufacturing industries
- Strong knowledge of environmental laws, permitting processes, and compliance frameworks
- Outstanding organizational, analytical, and communication skills
