Job Summary
Lead Specialist role based in Mumbai (hybrid: in-office at least three days per week) focusing on data analytics, insights, and data engineering. Leverages SQL, Python, and Databricks to extract, transform, and analyze data; collaborates with the UK Aviation team to develop innovative business solutions and growth initiatives; builds and maintains data pipelines in Databricks; develops SQL queries and Python scripts for large datasets; designs dashboards/reports primarily using Power BI; analyzes data from legacy systems and presents KPIs to stakeholders; works with cross-functional teams to align analytics outputs with business objectives and strategy. Standout candidates will have strong communication skills, ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, and experience with cloud data services (Azure/AWS) and Power BI; the organization emphasizes a diverse, inclusive, and flexible work environment with remote collaboration and in-office days as part of a hybrid workflow.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/Engineering
- 4-6 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or reporting
- Strong hands-on expertise in SQL, Python, and Databricks
- Strong data engineering skills including ETL
- Ability to work with large datasets and complex data models
- Strong data visualization skills with Power BI
- Experience with Databricks on cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
- Knowledge of data pipeline optimization and cloud data services
- Stakeholder management and teamwork abilities
- Strong communication skills
