Job Summary
Lead, Special Projects role supporting the Founder across Singapore market entry, hiring plans, fundraising, and establishing A1’s presence. Responsibilities include driving Singapore market entry strategy and execution, building and executing initial hiring plans, supporting fundraising materials and investor conversations, setting up office/vendor/operating structures, managing external positioning with PR/partners, turning ambiguous ideas into concrete, executable plans, serving as a central operator across teams to track priorities and resolve bottlenecks, and handling high-urgency, unstructured problems with sound judgment. Required background in consulting (MBB), top-tier VC, startups, or high-performance operating roles; strong generalist capabilities across strategy, hiring, operations, and execution; high agency, strong judgment, clear communication with senior stakeholders, and high reliability in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment. Remote option available; location-based focus on Singapore.
Required Qualifications
- Background in consulting (MBB), top-tier VC, startups, or high-performance operating roles
- Strong generalist - able to switch between strategy, hiring, operations, and execution
- High agency - does not wait for instructions, figures things out and moves
- Strong judgment - able to prioritize what matters and make decisions with incomplete information
- Clear and concise communication - comfortable working with senior stakeholders and external partners
- High reliability - consistently follows through and delivers
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-ambiguity environment
