Job Summary
Create and release Purchase Orders on time to support the master manufacturing schedule, keeping the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system current with scheduling changes and cancellations. Collaborate with suppliers and Materials Resource Planners to manage fulfillment, resolve scheduling conflicts, and maintain on-time delivery performance. Apply sourcing policies and lead material initiatives for the strategic sourcing team, including deflation activities, supply change risk mitigation, lead time reduction, and payment terms improvement. Contribute to New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and cash flow improvement initiatives across a global, matrixed supply chain. Provide guidance to suppliers on compliance with engineering drawings and specifications, coordinating with Operations, Shop Scheduling, and configuration control teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in manufacturing, materials management, inventory control, or production planning
- High School Diploma / GED (General Educational Development) with a minimum of 8 years of equivalent experience in the same disciplines
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience managing fulfillment activities, including purchase order tracking, delivery scheduling, and supplier escalation, within a manufacturing or industrial supply chain environment
- Minimum 2-3 years hands-on experience with SAP or a comparable modern ERP platform
- Minimum 3 years of experience in fulfillment management
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening
- Successful completion of a drug screen (as applicable)
