Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary
Design scalable software architecture and build APIs, integrations, and internal applications using the C#/.NET stack to connect engineering, manufacturing, and factory operations. Develop data infrastructure linking BIM, CAD, PLM, MES, and ERP platforms while leveraging AI tools to accelerate prototyping and delivery. Provide technical direction to external partners and support CI/CD, monitoring, and production reliability for systems that influence physical product design and construction. Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to improve interoperability and data quality.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of software engineering/development experience
- Strong C# / .NET development experience
- Previous technical leadership experience
- Hands-on software architecture experience
- API and systems integration experience
- Experience designing scalable applications and data infrastructure
- Cloud experience, ideally AWS
- CI/CD, automated testing and modern software engineering practices
- Strong understanding of software reliability, monitoring and production support
- Experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Importantly, we're looking for someone who still wants to build
- Experience developing software within Manufacturing
- Experience developing software within Construction Technology / ConTech
- Experience developing software within Engineering
- Experience developing software within Industrial Automation
- Experience developing software within Factory / Production Systems
- Experience with MES
- Experience with CAD / BIM
- Experience with PLM
- Experience with Industrialised or Modular Construction
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Revit, SOLIDWORKS, Ignition MES or similar engineering/manufacturing platforms
