Job Summary
Architect and scale the company's public web platform using Next.js and React, optimizing Core Web Vitals and implementing intelligent media loading strategies for high-traffic launches. Own the frontend engineering team, conducting code reviews, establishing design systems, and driving the technical roadmap for scalability and performance. Partner with Marketing and Product teams to deliver immersive storytelling experiences, including vehicle showcases and lead generation funnels, while managing CI/CD pipelines and CDN infrastructure. Lead development of interactive UI components using GSAP and Framer Motion, ensuring pixel-perfect implementation of brand guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- 8 - 12 years in frontend/web engineering
- 3+ years leading engineering teams
- Strong expertise in: Next.js
- Strong expertise in: React
- Strong expertise in: Modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Strong expertise in: HTML5 / CSS3 / SCSS
- Strong expertise in: Tailwind
- Deep understanding of: SSR / SSG / ISR
- Deep understanding of: Hydration and rendering internals
- Deep understanding of: Core Web Vitals optimization
- Deep understanding of: SEO best practices
- Deep understanding of: CDN architecture
- Deep understanding of: Browser performance optimization
- Experience scaling high-traffic, consumer-facing platforms
- Experience integrating headless CMS and marketing tools
- Experience with Vercel
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building automotive, D2C, or premium consumer brand websites
- Exposure to 3D integrations (WebGL, Three.js)
- Experience with design systems and Storybook
- Knowledge of analytics and conversion tracking (Google Analytics, Tag Manager)
- Experience with A/B testing frameworks
