Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer - UI - React responsible for designing, building, and delivering secure, high-quality front-end solutions. You will work in an agile FX Services Technology team within Macro eTrading to drive architectural design decisions, review code, mentor teams, and lead communities of practice while collaborating with external vendors and internal teams to evaluate and adopt new technologies. The role emphasizes leadership in delivering scalable UI applications, a strong focus on React/JavaScript/TypeScript/UX, and contributing to a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Proficient in front-end frameworks such as React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience building high-performance desktop or web applications
- Experience with test-driven development, modern source control, and continuous integration
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Clear understanding of UX methodologies and a passion for interactive design
- Preferred: Experience in solution design, software testing, and production support
- Preferred: Experience in relevant domains, including the financial sector
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma
- Familiarity with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, or Spring
