Job Summary
Design and deliver secure, scalable software solutions for a mission-critical program by developing a comprehensive AWS-based full-stack application to modernize encryption key storage and management. Lead the engineering team using Java, Python, ReactJS, Kubernetes, and Docker while providing guidance to solve complex technical challenges and advance secure data protection capabilities. Collaborate closely with customer stakeholders to drive successful solution implementations, manage project planning activities, and communicate progress, risks, and milestones. Support a flexible hybrid work schedule with up to three days of telework per week, with potential 24/7 on-call rotation requiring pay differential for mission-critical application coverage.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Computer Science or related course of study, or equivalent year's experience
- 8+ years of Java development experience
- 8+ years experience with modern development practices
- Experience with REST APIs
- Experience with Agile methodology
- TS/SCI with Polygraph level of security clearance
- Flexible hybrid work schedule with up to three days of telework per week
- Availability for 24/7 support shared by the team
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity developing and supporting encryption libraries and key management capabilities to ensure secure data protection and system integrity
- Experience working with AWS, React Js, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Kubernetes
- Ability to drive successful solution implementations by applying best practices across planning, technical documentation, testing, and defect resolution
- Ability to contribute to project planning activities and communicate project progress, risks, and milestones with stakeholders
