Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the Commercial and Investment Bank Organization's Equities Sales & Trading Technology Team. Responsible for creative software solutions, secure high-quality production code, and optimizing operability of software applications. Drives architecture evaluations with vendors and internal teams, leads communities of practice in Software Engineering, and develops high-performance, low-latency order management GUIs to support global trading desks (Cash, Delta1, ETF RFQ). Demonstrates strong UI/UX, web development, and modern programming language expertise, with experience delivering scalable systems in a large corporate environment. Fosters diversity and inclusion within the team and adheres to agile methodologies and secure software practices.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Proficient hands-on coding in C#/WPF or TypeScript/JavaScript/React
- Experience in distributed systems
- Experience in high performance and low latency systems
- UI/UX principles
- Web Development & Services
- Architecture and design
- Software Development Life Cycle
- CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Knowledge of cloud, AI, machine learning, mobile, etc.
