Job Summary
Execute creative software solutions, design, and technical troubleshooting for trusted mobile products while developing secure, high-quality production code. Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to probe architectural designs, and drive community adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed. Establish consistent validation standards for secure coding, peer review, and automated testing, while applying knowledge of the full Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to enhance operational stability.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Apple technologies, including Swift, iOS SDK, and advanced Apple platform integration
- Demonstrated proficiency in designing and developing reusable iOS framework components, strictly adhering to Apple's best practices and design guidelines
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience architecting, designing, and developing complex iOS application frameworks using Swift, Swift 6.x, SwiftUI, XCTest, Tests, Xcode, and Xcode Instruments
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
- Practical cloud native experience
- Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., for coding, code review, test acceleration, troubleshooting) with the ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security
Desired Qualifications
- Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations; experience coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption within delivery practices
