Job Summary
The Lead Software Engineer, SRE – Order Management Systems is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of mission-critical Order Management platforms. Key responsibilities include ensuring high availability of critical systems, providing technical guidance on IBM Sterling OMS, designing solutions using AngularJS and microservices, reducing technical debt, developing observability, leading incident response, defining SLIs and SLOs, and mentoring engineers.
Required Qualifications
- Deep technical expertise in Site Reliability Engineering
- Experience with IBM Sterling Order Management
- Proficiency in AngularJS and backend microservices technologies
- Strong SQL tuning skills
- Experience with observability tools like OpenSearch, AppDynamics, and Grafana
- Leadership experience in incident response and root cause analysis
