Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer for Mainframe and distributed applications within JPMorganChase's Consumer & Community Banking Card Technology Team. Responsible for designing and delivering secure, scalable software solutions across mainframe and distributed environments, leading architectural evaluations, and mentoring a global team. Drives automated tooling, CI/CD practices, operational stability, and collaboration with external vendors and internal teams to adopt new and leading-edge technologies. Requires leadership in design, development, testing, and production support, with strong COBOL, DB2, CICS, IBM JCL, MQ, VSAM, and cloud-native capabilities (AWS, GCP) and experience modernizing mainframe systems.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
