Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer responsible for designing and delivering secure, scalable software solutions across the Java/AWS stack. Acts as a core technical contributor to conduct solution design, development, and troubleshooting; reviews code and drives operational stability. Leads architectural evaluations with external vendors and internal teams, champions communities of practice, and collaborates with product, QA, and operations to align technical solutions with business goals. Key skills include Java, AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS), microservices, RESTful APIs, Docker/Kubernetes, modern monitoring/logging (DataDog, Dynatrace, Splunk), and CI/CD practices. Role emphasizes secure high-quality production code, automated remediation of recurring issues, and scalable distributed systems.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5 years of applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s)- Java
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
- Experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API development is needed .
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with modern monitoring and logging tools (e.g., DataDog, Dynatrace, Splunk).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product, QA, and operations.
- Experience with software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
