Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer in JPMorgan Chase's Asset & Wealth Management, focused on delivering secure, scalable Python/PySpark/SQL solutions and data pipelines in AWS. Responsible for designing and implementing production-grade code, leading wealth-management marketing software initiatives, and collaborating across teams to improve architecture, reliability, and operational stability. Role emphasizes hands-on development in Python, PySpark, SQL, and AWS, contributing to software engineering communities, driving architecture improvements, and mentoring teams while aligning with firm objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience in software development
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability for wealth management marketing software solutions
- Hands-on development experience in Python, PySpark, SQL, and AWS services
- Experience with AWS services (S3, EMR) and cloud architecture
- Proven ability to lead initiatives and collaborate with internal/external teams
- Proficiency in SDLC and working with teams to deliver scalable, reliable software solutions
- Exposure to cloud technologies (Step Functions, Lambda, Spark) and IaC Terraform is a nice to have
- Experience in the Financial Services industry
