Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer - Python responsible for designing, developing, and delivering secure, scalable software solutions within JPMorganChase's Corporate Sector. Drives full SDLC from requirements analysis to deployment, mentors junior engineers, leads technical discussions with internal teams and external vendors, champions agile practices, and evaluates new technologies to enhance performance and reliability. Emphasis on building production-grade code, code reviews, debugging, automation, operational stability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience in software engineering
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced in programming languages including Python, React, Django, FastAPI, Flask, AWS
- Experience in system design, development lifecycle, testing, and operational stability
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery (CI/CD)
- Proficient across all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Knowledge of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and financial services IT systems
- Practical cloud native experience
