Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer-Python/Data Engineering, a core technical contributor and leader responsible for executing software solutions, providing technical leadership, writing secure high-quality Python/Java code, leveraging cloud services to build ML pipelines, coordinating ML ops with SRE, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and trusted technology products in a Bank environment.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience with Pyspark, Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS services, including ECS, EMR, Lambda, EC2, TensorFlow and SageMaker
- Experience in programming languages such as Python or Java
- Understanding of and ability to learn the basic architecture of Cloud services and usage
- Experience working with databases such as Oracle or Cassandra
- Exposure to Agile and scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
