Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer on JPMorgan Chase's Cloud Foundational Services team, responsible for designing, delivering, and securing cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. Lead teams with diverse geography and experience, drive feature delivery in an agile environment, implement IAM governance and security controls (encryption, key management, organizational policies, deny policies), and develop cloud-native solutions using Python, GoLang, Terraform, Kubernetes, and serverless GCP services (Cloud Run, Cloud Pub/Sub). Must have formal software engineering training or certification and 5+ years of experience, with strong proficiency across multiple cloud platforms and IAM/SAML/OIDC authentication approaches, as well as a focus on security-by-design and governance.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Proficiency in AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platforms services (Compute, Cloud Storage, Structured/Unstructured Databases, Kubernetes Engine)
- Knowledge of Authentication and Authorization protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC)
- Familiarity with serverless computing and event-driven architectures using GCP services like Cloud Run and Cloud Pub/Sub
- Proficiency in Terraform and scripting with Python and GoLang
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on cross-functional teams
