Job Summary
The Lead Software Engineer (WMOS – Java) is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable warehouse management solutions supporting global supply chain operations. This hands-on technical role requires strong Java development and expertise in Manhattan Associates WMOS. Key responsibilities include leading technical designs and implementations of WMOS integrations, developing microservices and APIs, optimizing PL/SQL code, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring application performance and reliability. The position demands collaboration among engineering and operations teams while providing mentorship and technical leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 12+ years of experience in software development with strong Java expertise
- Hands-on experience developing and supporting Manhattan Associates WMOS
- Strong Java/J2EE development experience
- Proficiency in PL/SQL and relational database concepts
- Good understanding or working knowledge of microservices architecture
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes including inventory, order fulfillment, and pick-pack-ship
- Experience with MHE integration and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of ProShip integration is a plus
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments with ability to analyze WMOS logs
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
