Job Summary
Architect, design, code, and test robust software solutions while investigating complex field issues to drive root cause analysis. Champion software development best practices by developing prototypes to demonstrate design concepts and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate needs into actionable features. Support CI/CD deployments through Azure DevOps and maintain high-quality standards compliant with regulatory requirements. This on-site role in Bengaluru requires 7+ years of Linux and scripting experience with a focus on medical device development in regulated environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years proven experience in Linux and scripting
- Hands-on experience with Linux systems
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals
- Scripting using Python and Shell
- Hands on experience on DevOps, Continuous Integration, delivery and deployment
- version Control (e.g., git)
- Build and maintain container images (Docker, Podman)
- Good knowledge in DHCP, DNS, OpenVPN, Routing, Bridging, Firewall Exposure
- troubleshoot boot failures, kernel panic, filesystem corruption, and performance issues
- Support CI/CD deployments through Azure DevOps
- This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement in which you can work remotely from your home
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in medical device design & development in Agile environment
- Understanding of software development processes for a regulated environment (FDA/ISO13485)
