Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer - Linux Infrastructure Platform responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-grade Linux infrastructure, automating OS images, using AI-assisted tooling, leading a team, delivering standard OS images for on-prem and cloud, building REST microservices, integrating Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Python, Go, Rust, and AI agents, ensuring secure coding and validation, and guiding adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Strong skills in Linux Infrastructure development (OS-level configuration, system hardening, kernel tuning, package management, scalable automated pipelines)
- Experience in cloud, hybrid, virtualized infrastructure, and modern software languages
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing infrastructure automation using Ansible Core or Ansible Automation Platform (playbooks, workflows, reusable roles/modules)
- Experience with container technologies and Kubernetes orchestration (deploy/manage workloads in enterprise environments)
- Proficiency in Python for automation; working knowledge of web frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with Windows Server to support cross-platform infrastructure
- Experience creating REST API-based microservices
- Ability to provide feedback on Ansible design/architecture/deployment
- Experience leading adoption of AI-assisted software development tools with validity checks for AI outputs (coding, code review, test acceleration)
- Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows (data sensitivity, secure handling, resiliency, security)
