Job Summary
The Lead Software Engineer will guide a team in the development of innovative applications, leveraging technologies such as Node.js, React, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable full-stack features, developing RESTful APIs, mentoring junior engineers, and fostering a collaborative environment. Candidates should possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks and database management, along with a solid foundation in Agile methodologies. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related field and over 7 years of experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant work experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience with MongoDB/Redis and messaging systems like Kafka or MQ
- Proficiency in React, AngularJS, Vue.js, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Bash
- Demonstrated experience with Microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and JSON
- In-depth knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
- Experienced in Agile and Scrum development processes
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
