Job Summary
Lead design and delivery of developer platform capabilities for AWS networking, EC2, and storage. Build and maintain Terraform IaC, including reusable modules, state/backends, and CI/CD integration. Develop platform automation and services in Python for provisioning workflows and AWS API integrations. Implement secure-by-default patterns such as least-privilege IAM, network segmentation, and encryption. Review code, debug complex issues, and improve reliability through automation and standardization. Mentor engineers and collaborate with architecture, security, and application teams to deliver reusable platform patterns.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years software engineering experience, including technical leadership (design ownership, mentoring, delivery accountability)
- AWS expertise required, with deep hands-on experience in Networking, Compute, and Storage
- Terraform expertise required, including enterprise-scale module development and operations
- Python expertise required for platform automation and services
- Strong SDLC, CI/CD, security, resiliency, and operational stability experience in production environments
Desired Qualifications
- Proven Terraform module development (versioning, testing/validation, documentation, long-term maintenance)
- Experience delivering shared platforms/foundational services in a large-scale enterprise environment
