Job Summary
Lead the architecture, design, and development of Blue Yonder's next-generation cloud-native Supply Chain Data Platform using Java, Spring Boot, and event-driven microservices. Collaborate with global product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure solutions while driving technical excellence through code reviews, performance optimization, and CI/CD improvements. Mentor engineers, contribute to hiring, resolve production challenges via root cause analysis, and participate in the engineering on-call rotation to ensure platform reliability. Requires 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Kafka, and big data technologies.
Required Qualifications
- 7 to 10 years of strong hands-on experience in Java
- 7 to 10 years of strong hands-on experience in Spring Boot
- 7 to 10 years of strong hands-on experience in Microservices
- 7 to 10 years of strong hands-on experience in REST APIs
- 7 to 10 years of strong hands-on experience in OAuth
- 7 to 10 years of strong hands-on experience in Kafka
- 7 to 10 years of strong hands-on experience in Snowflake
- 7 to 10 years of strong hands-on experience in cloud-native application development on Microsoft Azure or similar cloud platforms
- Proven experience designing and building scalable, resilient, multi-tenant SaaS platforms using distributed microservices
- Proven experience designing and building scalable, resilient, multi-tenant SaaS platforms using event-driven architecture
- Proven experience designing and building scalable, resilient, multi-tenant SaaS platforms using Kubernetes
- Proven experience designing and building scalable, resilient, multi-tenant SaaS platforms using Docker
- Proven experience designing and building scalable, resilient, multi-tenant SaaS platforms using DevOps practices
- Experience with Big Data and distributed technologies such as Snowflake
- Experience with Big Data and distributed technologies such as Spark
- Experience with Big Data and distributed technologies such as Scala
- Experience with Big Data and distributed technologies such as Elasticsearch
- Experience with Big Data and distributed technologies such as NoSQL/RDBMS
- Experience with performance tuning and high-availability architectures
