Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer responsible for providing technical direction and translating business requirements into scalable enterprise software designs. Role includes developing complex code modules and integrated solutions, mentoring teammates, ensuring architectural conformance, and driving reliability practices (disaster recovery, capacity planning, observability). Emphasizes standards for code quality, security (authentication/authorization), and Agile processes, with hands-on expertise in Java development using Spring Boot, microservices, Kafka, RESTful services, and DevOps/CI-CD.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems (CIS), or related field or equivalent experience
- 7 years of experience in software development or related field
- 6 years of experience in frontend technologies (UI/UX), middleware (microservices and APIs), database technologies, DevOps
- 6 years of experience working on projects involving iterative agile development
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
- 8+ years of hands-on Java development with Spring Boot
- 8+ years of experience with Kafka, RESTful services, event-driven architectures
- 8+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- 4+ years of experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers
