Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer responsible for designing and delivering secure, high-quality production code across the full software lifecycle. Roles include hands-on development in Java and React/JavaScript, SQL and messaging with Kafka, and cloud work in AWS. You will collaborate with stakeholders, review and debug code, evolve AI-assisted development and automation, and contribute to a diverse, inclusive team culture while ensuring operational stability and scalable design. Strong emphasis on delivering robust system design, end-to-end development, testing, and deployment processes, with experience in observability tools and modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake/Databricks) preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
- 5+ years of applied experience in software engineering
- Proficiency in Java and React/JavaScript; SQL and Kafka or similar messaging technologies
- Experience with cloud technologies and environments such as AWS
- Full-stack development proficiency
- Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability
- Proficiency with Git and version control systems
- Demonstrated expertise across the software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of deployment processes and automation/continuous delivery
