Job Summary
Lead software engineer responsible for executing creative software solutions, designing and debugging across Java/Python/React stack, delivering production-quality code, improving operational stability, leading architectural design discussions with vendors and internal teams, driving adoption of new technologies, fostering diverse and inclusive team culture, and contributing to agile processes, CI/CD, security, and cloud-native architectures within JPMorganChase's Home Lending team.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience in software engineering
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced in one or more programming languages: Java, Python, React, AWS
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
- Practical cloud native experience
- Experience with Agentic AI (preferred)
