Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer responsible for executing creative software solutions, developing secure production code, reviewing others' code, and driving architectural designs across teams. Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams, promotes communities of practice, and contributes to an inclusive team culture. Requires strong experience in software development, system design, CI/CD, cloud-native environments, Java and/or React, and a solid understanding of SDLC and agile practices, with a focus on security and operational stability in scalable, trusted technology products. Location-based on Jersey City, NJ, with an on-site/hybrid-capable role as stated. JPMorganChase CTO- Identity and access management line of business, agile team, and cross-functional collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders are key aspects of the role.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Software development
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced in Java and/or JavaScript/React
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Practical cloud native experience
