Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase (Asset and Wealth Management) responsible for delivering high-quality production code in Python and Java, with cloud deployments on AWS/Azure, and strong emphasis on secure, scalable software across the software development lifecycle. You will engage in design, development, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting; lead architectural discussions, vendor evaluations, and communities of practice; collaborate with stakeholders to drive outcomes, improve operational stability, and contribute to a culture of diversity and continuous learning.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Excellent software development skill in Python(Must) / Java and ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Hands on experience in deploying and managing applications AWS/Azure
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems
- Practical cloud native experience
- BS or MSc degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Science Discipline
