Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Identity & Access Management group, part of an agile team delivering trusted, scalable technologies. Responsibilities include executing software solutions and debugging beyond routine problems, producing secure, high-quality production code and maintaining algorithms that synchronize with systems, generating architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, proactively identifying data patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture, contributing to engineering communities of practice, and applying knowledge of Java, RESTful APIs, Microservices, CI/CD (Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket), relational databases (MS SQL Server), cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and modern frontend technologies (React, NodeJS) to secure and scalable solutions. Preferred experience includes Java/Python with Spring Framework, IAM, and cloud/container orchestration (AWS services, Kubernetes).
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with Java, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architectures
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, and source code management tools such as Git and Bitbucket
- Proficiency in designing and implementing data models for relational databases
- Experience with using relational database like MS SQL Server
- Experience working on Cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience in Java / Python along with Microservices, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data) and any front technologies like React and NodeJS
- Experience in Identity and Access Management
- Experience with cloud services such as AWS S3, EC2, EKS, IAM, and Lambda
- Experience in Cloud and Container based development (Gaia, Kubernetes)
