Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector, Identity & Access Management. Responsible for executing software solutions, creating secure production code, producing architecture/design artifacts, identifying data patterns to drive improvements, and contributing to engineering communities. Requires formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and extensive experience (8+ years) with Java, RESTful APIs, Microservices, CI/CD, relational databases (MS SQL Server), and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). Preferred experience includes Java/Python with Spring, React/NodeJS, IAM, cloud services (S3, EC2, EKS, IAM, Lambda), and Kubernetes.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with Java, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architectures
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, and source code management tools such as Git and Bitbucket
- Proficiency in designing and implementing data models for relational databases
- Experience with using relational database like MS SQL Server
- Experience working on Cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure)
