Job Summary
Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting while driving team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed. Produce secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms running synchronously with appropriate systems, creating architecture and design artifacts for complex applications. Proactively identify hidden problems in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture, contributing to software engineering communities of practice. Requires 8+ years of software development experience, strong Java and Spring Framework expertise, and proficiency in CI/CD, cloud platforms, and relational databases.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- 8+ years of software development experience
- Demonstrated experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools
- Ability to set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security
- Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows
- Experience coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption within delivery practices
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with Java
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with Spring Framework
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with Spring Boot
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with Spring MVC
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with Spring Data
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with Microservices architectures
- Practical knowledge of CI/CD
- Practical knowledge of Jenkins
- Practical knowledge of source code management tools such as Git and Bitbucket
- Proficiency in designing and implementing data models for relational databases
- Experience with using relational database like MS SQL Server
- Experience working on Cloud platform
