Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer (Java) for a remote contract-to-hire engagement. Develop software across languages and tools (Java, Go, Python, Spark, React, AWS) to build revolutionary analytics tools supporting workflows and decision making. Collaborate with Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and Product Managers to deliver high-quality, incremental solutions in an agile environment. Emphasis on end-to-end development, from databases to REST APIs, and a passion for innovation in real-time data analysis, machine learning, and AI in the financial services space.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years of full stack software engineering experience
- Proven experience working on new products or building innovative solutions
- Expertise in programming from the database to the REST APIs
- Experience with Agile development methods, especially Scrum
- Ability to adapt to change and a commitment to excellence and quality
