Job Summary
Lead Software Engineer responsible for serving as Tech Lead on new Java/Spring/Hibernate development projects from the ground up; collaborate with mobile developers, frontend developers and QA to ensure successful delivery of projects; focus on API creation/consumption and delivering scalable backend solutions with emphasis on design, development and delivery; opportunity for equity and executive visibility; location is Downtown Richmond, VA in-office with a casual environment and flexible schedules.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years Java development experience
- 7+ years Spring and Hibernate experience
- Expertise in object-oriented programming
- Successful track record of development on projects from the ground up
- Experience with design, development and delivery of projects
- At least 1 year of technical leadership with a desire to train, mentor and conduct code reviews
