Lead Software Engineer responsible for design, development, and troubleshooting of Java fullstack applications on AWS within JPMorgan Chase's Cash and Check Management domain. Responsibilities include delivering secure production code, performing code reviews, driving CI/CD, building reusable components, improving operational stability, and leading collaboration in large teams while communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Advanced proficiency in Java/J2EE
- Cloud native development and deployment (AWS)
- Experience with React framework
- Proficient in automation, unit testing, and CI/CD
- Proficient in building and consuming microservices leveraging APIs and event-driven (Kafka) communication
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in SDLC and agile methodologies
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Associate level AWS Certification(s)
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- In-depth knowledge of financial services IT systems and industry trends
- Leadership and collaboration within large teams
