Job Summary
Provide technical guidance and direction to support the business, contractors, and vendors. Develop secure, high-quality production code and review or debug code written by others. Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed, establishing consistent validation standards and promoting pattern reuse. Apply knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including AI-assisted development and automation, to improve realized value. Drive decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations. Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert and contribute to the engineering community as an advocate for firmwide frameworks and leading-edge technologies. Requires 5+ years of applied experience in Java, Springboot, and low-latency/high-throughput systems.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Strong OOP/design patterns understanding
